About the Role:
As a SharePoint Support Specialist at Stolt-Nielsen, you will be the first point of contact for SharePoint Online issues across the organisation, providing responsive P1 and P2 support and ensuring the platform runs smoothly day to day. You will manage site provisioning, permissions, lifecycle management, and the integration touchpoints between SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 applications.
This role combines operational support with hands-on administration, and requires strong problem-solving ability and clear communication, since you will frequently be the one translating technical permission structures into plain language for end users and stakeholders. You will handle site creation and decommissioning, manage permissions and access reviews across multiple levels of the SharePoint and OneDrive environment, execute lifecycle management tasks (inactive site detection, owner attestation follow-ups, archival), and support minor customization requests.
You will work within a small, focused SharePoint team alongside a Team Lead and Senior Developer,



with real prospect to improve your technical skills over time.
What You'll Do:
- Provide P1 and P2 support for all SharePoint Online issues across the organisation, acting as the first point of contact for end users.
- Manage day-to-day site provisioning, configuration, and decommissioning in line with governance policies.
- Administer permissions across all levels of the environment, including:
- Site-level and sub-site permissions
- Ownership assignment and transfer
- Guest-level (external user) permissions and access reviews
- Folder- and item-level (unique) permissions
- OneDrive-level sharing and access permissions
- Security group membership and Microsoft 365 group permissions
- Diagnose and resolve permission-related issues logically and systematically, tracing access problems back to their root cause (e.g. broken inheritance, conflicting group membership, expired guest access) rather than applyi
