Supervise and coordinate daily shop-floor fabrication activities for equipment manufacturing.
Monitor fabrication of:
Heat Exchangers
Storage Tanks
Columns
Pressure Vessels
Structural and Process Equipment
Ensure adherence to approved drawings, WPS, QAP, and fabrication procedures.
Conduct and coordinate stage inspections during fabrication and assembly processes.
Verify raw material identification, traceability, handling, and storage practices.
Monitor welding activities and ensure welding quality as per applicable standards and specifications.
Coordinate with QA/QC, Planning, Stores, and Production teams for smooth execution.
Ensure proper material handling using cranes, lifting tools, and protected shop practices.
Maintain production records, inspection reports, and fabrication status updates.
Identify fabrication issues and support corrective actions to minimize rework.
Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and quality requirements within the shop.
