About Taz Kamar Hotel Taz Kamar Hotel is a luxury property in Chennai that focuses on great guest service. We're looking for a friendly, organised person to join our front office team and be one of the first faces our guests meet.

The Role As a Front Office Executive, you'll be the main point of contact for our guests. You'll handle check-ins, check-outs, payments, and help sort out any issues that come up during their stay. We need someone who is well-organised, good with people, and takes pride in giving guests a smooth, pleasant experience.

Key Responsibilities
Guest service: Welcome guests, handle their requests, and sort out any complaints quickly and politely.
Front desk operations: Manage check-ins, check-outs, and room changes. Make sure bills are correct and everything follows hotel standards.
Cash and billing: Handle daily cash duties, take payments, post charges, and help with night audit when needed.
Team coordination: Stay in regular contact with Housekeeping, Concierge, and Maintenance so rooms are ready on time and guest issues are fixed fast.
Safety:



Know the hotel's emergency procedures and make sure guests are secure at all times.
Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Front Desk or Guest Services role, preferably in a hotel.

Preferred
Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management.
Knowledge of a second language (Tamil, Hindi, or others).
Proven ability to handle difficult guest situations and resolve issues calmly and effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Working knowledge of Hotel Management Systems (HMS); experience with SKYHMS is an added advantage.
Robust multitasking and organisational skills with good attention to detail.
Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
