Job Description - Tally Operator

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP.
Handle sales, purchase, payment, receipt, and journal voucher entries.
Generate invoices and maintain billing records accurately.
Manage jewelry stock entries, inventory reconciliation, and inward/outward records.
Prepare GST data, E-way bills, and assist in tax documentation.
Handle bank reconciliation and vendor/customer ledger management.
Maintain records of cash transactions and daily sales reports.
Coordinate with store management, CA, and accounts team for financial documentation.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of invoices, challans, and accounting records.
Support audit and compliance-related activities.

Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
Valuable understanding of accounting principles and GST.
Experience in billing, invoicing, and inventory management.
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations.




Valuable numerical and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Tally Operator or Accounts Executive.
Prior experience in jewelry retail/showroom industry preferred.
Graduate in Commerce or related field preferred.
Honest, responsible, and capable of handling confidential financial information.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting.
