Teachers are responsible for the care, education, and overall development of a group of children as part of a team-oriented teaching team. They are expected to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, assess the individual needs of each child, and partner with families to support and promote healthy growth and learning. Teachers report directly to the Head of School.

Essential Functions:
Teachers must possess the physical ability and stamina necessary to fulfill their duties, including:
Lifting a child from the floor or ground
Bending or kneeling to interact with children at their eye level
Quickly reaching a child in distress or danger within reachable radius

In addition, teachers must:
Be fluent in spoken English
Have adequate vision and hearing to maintain constant visual and/or auditory supervision of all children
