Role Description The Audit Manager –

- CO Chartered Accountants is a full-time, in office role based in Kochi.

The Audit

Manager will lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, executing, and reviewing internal, operational, and statutory audits for a portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities include overseeing audit teams, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards, and reviewing financial statements and supporting documentation.



The role involves coordinating with clients to understand business processes, identifying control weaknesses and risks, and recommending practical improvements.

The Audit

Manager will also prepare and review audit reports, support due diligence and valuation assignments as required, and collaborate with tax and advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Accounting, Finance, and preparation and interpretation of Financial Statements.
- Demonstrated experience in Financial Audits and related assurance engagements.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting data, assessing risks, and evaluating internal controls.
- Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent; relevant audit firm or consulting experience.
- Sound understanding of auditing standards, accounting regulations, and tax concepts.
- Ability to lead and mentor audit teams, manage multiple engagements, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in audit and accounting software, MS Excel, and report writing.
- Strong communication and client management skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site with diverse stakeholders.
