Role Description The Associate Circle Head role at HDFC Life is a full-time, on-site position based in Muvattupuzha. The role involves leading a team of Financial Consultants, driving sales of life insurance products, and ensuring achievement of assigned business targets for the circle.

Key responsibilities include planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and providing guidance and support to team members to enhance productivity and customer engagement.

Head also focuses on building long-term relationships with customers, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company guidelines,



and coordinating with internal stakeholders to support smooth operations and service delivery. The role requires regular fieldwork, including customer meetings, team coaching, and market development activities within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and business development capabilities, including experience meeting revenue or target-based goals in financial services or related sectors.
- Team leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop a field sales or consultant workforce.
- Customer relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and building long-term trust.
- Sound understanding of insurance, financial products, or retail banking, and familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in local language and good command of English.
- Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, including comfort with basic data analysis and performance tracking.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a postgraduate qualification or specialization in finance, marketing, or insurance is an advantage.
- Prior experience in life insurance or financial services sales, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role, is highly beneficial.
