About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Arabic Translator to join us as a part-time consultant for an upcoming project requiring accurate and culturally sensitive translation between English and Arabic. This is not a full-time position — we need someone who can commit a set number of hours per week/month for the duration of the project while managing other engagements. The ideal candidate has strong command of both languages, sound judgment on regional dialect/formal Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic) usage, and experience translating professional content.

Key Responsibilities

- Translate documents, content, or communications from English to Arabic and Arabic to English
- Ensure translations are accurate, grammatically correct, and contextually/culturally appropriate
- Proofread and edit translated material for clarity, tone, and consistency
- Maintain consistency in terminology across the project (glossary/style guide adherence)
- Collaborate with the project team to clarify context, intent, or technical terms
- Meet agreed turnaround times and quality standards within the allotted part-time hours

Requirements




- Native or near-native fluency in Arabic (please specify dialect proficiency — e.g., Gulf, Levantine, Egyptian, or MSA); strong professional fluency in English
- Proven experience in translation (professional, technical, or business content)
- Open to working in US time for few days.
- Excellent written communication skills in both languages
- Solid attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with translation tools (e.g., CAT tools, MS Office) is a plus
- Prior experience working on remote/freelance/part-time engagements preferred

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree/certification in relevant language studies, translation, or linguistics
- Experience translating in [industry/domain — e.g., legal, medical, technical, marketing]
- Familiarity with Indian business context is a plus, given the project is based in India

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
