Procurement Coordinator - Construction & Infrastructure

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Budgeting & Cost Control:
Prepare and manage procurement budgets for tenders and projects.
Monitor material costs and align procurement strategies with project financial goals.
Tendering & Contracts:
Develop tender documents and manage bidding processes.
Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Material Procurement & Supply Chain:
Source construction materials, equipment, and services from reliable suppliers.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project schedules.
Maintain inventory levels and optimize supply chain efficiency.
Project Support:
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to forecast material requirements.
Provide procurement insights to support project planning and execution.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain robust relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.




Conduct vendor performance evaluations and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure procurement activities comply with legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
Prepare regular reports on procurement status, budgets, and risks.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
2+ years of procurement experience in construction/infrastructure projects.
Robust knowledge of tendering, budgeting, and contract management.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
