ob Title: Junior Safety Officer

Department: Safety/Health & Workplace (HSE)
Reports To: Senior Safety Officer

Job Summary:
The Junior Safety Officer will assist in the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure a safe working workplace. This role supports the senior safety team in promoting safety awareness and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and programs.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Report safety incidents, near misses, and accidents, and assist in the investigation of incidents to determine root causes.
Provide support for safety training programs and employee safety inductions.
Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Keep records of safety inspections, training,



and incidents.
Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Basic knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and hazard analysis.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:
Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is a plus.
Experience in a construction, manufacturing, or industrial environment is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,433.90 - ₹40,800.64 per month
