Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Microbiology QC Officer to support our quality control laboratory operations. The role involves performing microbiological testing, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting continual improvement of quality systems.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
Perform environmental monitoring and hygiene assessments
Operate and maintain microbiology laboratory instruments
Conduct sterility, endotoxin, microbial limit, and bioburden testing (as applicable)
Prepare culture media, reagents, and microbial cultures
Maintain lab records as per GMP/GLP requirements
Review and interpret test results and investigate deviations
Participate in validation, qualification, and calibration activities
Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines
Support audits and documentation control

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology,



Biotechnology, or related field
Experience in QC microbiology laboratory preferred
Knowledge of GMP/GLP and ISO standards
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and microbiological testing methods
Robust documentation and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and in a team

Preferred Skills
Experience in pharmaceutical/food/cosmetic microbiology (specify as needed)
Understanding of regulatory bodies such as WHO, FDA, ISO, or HACCP
Hands-on experience with sterility testing/ELISA/endotoxin/LAL test (if applicable)
