We are currently seeking a Laundry Assistant to join the team providing support services at Bethanie Como Aged Care Home.
The role is being offered as a Permanent Part Time contract.
The successful candidate must be available to work the following shift pattern:
Week 01 and Week 02
Thursday
Friday
The Role
Ensuring all laundry and linen is laundered correctly, and infection control practices are adhered to
Sorting and washing linen by wash temperature, colour, degree of soiling, infectious nature, fabric and fibre
Loading and unloading washing machines and tumble dryers
Sorting and folding clean and dry linen
Reporting damage or wear and recommending repairs or replacement

About You
Previous experience working as Laundry Assistant, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment
Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents
Reliable with a robust work ethic
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations




Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one)
