Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Medical Coder with a strong Radiology coding background to join our team in Tirunelveli. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in radiology coding, medical terminology, and coding guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate coding of Radiology medical records and procedures.
Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on clinical documentation.
Review medical records and ensure coding accuracy and completeness.
Follow applicable coding guidelines, compliance standards, and client requirements.
Identify and resolve coding discrepancies and documentation-related issues.
Maintain required productivity and quality standards.
Coordinate with the quality/audit team when required.
Stay updated with changes in coding guidelines and industry standards.

Requirements




4+ years of experience in Medical Coding.
Robust Radiology coding experience/background is mandatory.
Good knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding.
Robust understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
Experience in reviewing and interpreting clinical documentation.
Positive communication and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and meet productivity and quality targets.
Relevant degree in Life Sciences / Allied Health / Medical-related fields is preferred.
