Qualification: M.Sc./M.Phil. in Botany, Biodiversity, Forestry, Zoology, Life Sciences or related fields

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Park Curator to oversee the development, conservation, maintenance and scientific management of NBNP’s gardens, living collections, biodiversity resources and environmental education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Park, garden and landscape management
Biodiversity conservation and habitat development
Seed Bank and nursery management
Butterfly Garden and RET Garden management
Environmental education and nature programmes
School and college coordination
Research and institutional collaborations
Documentation, reporting and programme coordination
Supervision of domestic animal exhibits and visitor education
Supervision and coordination of field staff

What We’re Looking For




Robust knowledge of Botany, Biodiversity and Conservation
Hands-on experience in nature parks, botanical gardens, nurseries or similar facilities
Knowledge of native plants, seed conservation and plant propagation
Experience in environmental education and institutional outreach
Robust communication, coordination and leadership skills
Willingness to work in a field-oriented outdoor workplace
Passion for nature conservation and environmental education

Preferred Experience

Experience in nature park/botanical garden management, biodiversity conservation, seed bank management, nursery management, butterfly garden management, RET plant conservation, environmental education, research coordination or forest/environmental projects will be preferred.
