About the Role

LS Prime Logistics is looking for an experienced and motivated US Truck Dispatcher to join our team in Mohali.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily dispatch operations for US-based trucking carriers, finding profitable loads, negotiating with brokers, and coordinating with drivers.

Key Responsibilities
Search and select profitable loads using DAT, Truckstop, and other load boards.
Contact freight brokers and negotiate rates.
Calculate RPM, loaded miles, deadhead miles, and trip profitability.
Book loads and verify rate confirmations.
Communicate with drivers regarding pickup and delivery details.
Track trucks and provide regular updates to brokers/customers.
Handle detention, layover, TONU, and other accessorial charges.
Maintain accurate dispatch records and daily reports.
Build and maintain professional relationships with brokers and carriers.
Ensure loads match the carrier's equipment, location, schedule, and requirements.

Requirements




1+ year of US trucking dispatch experience preferred.
Practical experience with DAT Load Board.
Truckstop experience is an advantage.
Good knowledge of US trucking terminology and freight lanes.
Robust spoken and written English.
Good negotiation and communication skills.
Understanding of RPM, deadhead, HOS, detention, layover, TONU, BOL, POD, and rate confirmations.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple trucks.
Willingness to work US night shifts.
Must be willing to work in office in Mohali.
