Job Description
We are looking for a VMC Machine Operator to join our production team. Freshers with ITI/Diploma qualifications are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
Operate VMC machines as per production requirements.
Load and unload components and fixtures.
Read and understand basic engineering drawings.
Perform basic tool setting and tool offset corrections.
Check component dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
Monitor machine operation and identify tool wear or dimensional variations.
Maintain required quality and production standards.
Follow safety, 5S, and housekeeping practices.
Achieve daily production targets with minimum rejection and rework.
Requirements
ITI in Machinist / Turner / Fitter or Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering.
Freshers can apply.
0–3 years of experience in VMC/CNC machine operation.
Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and measuring instruments.
Basic knowledge of G-code/M-code is an advantage.
Willingness to work in shifts.
Good attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of cutting tools, tool offsets, drilling, tapping, and milling operations.
Experience in a precision engineering/manufacturing workplace will be an advantage.
