Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of a restaurant in Mauritius. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high service standards, managing staff, controlling costs, and ensuring an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff.
Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
Plan staff schedules and manage attendance.
Monitor food quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
Control inventory, wastage, and operating costs.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments.
Monitor sales, cash handling, and daily operational reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Support promotional activities and help achieve sales targets.

Requirements
Previous experience as a Restaurant Manage




Strong leadership and communication skills.
Valuable knowledge of restaurant operations and food & beverage service.
Ability to manage a multicultural team.
Customer-focused and professional approach.
Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays when required.
Valid passport is mandatory and must be available for employment/travel formalities.
Candidates must be willing to relocate to Mauritius.

Preferred
Hotel or hospitality management qualification.
Experience in a hotel, resort, fine-dining restaurant, or high-volume restaurant.
Knowledge of POS systems, stock control, and restaurant financial management.
Previous international hospitality experience.
