Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Assistant Plant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our dairy manufacturing plant. The role involves supervising production and packing activities, managing plant workers and machine operators, ensuring efficient machine utilization, and maintaining product quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily plant production and packing operations.
Supervise machine operators, production staff, and plant workers.
Monitor production activities to ensure smooth and timely operations.
Ensure efficient utilization of machinery with minimum downtime.
Coordinate with production and packing teams to achieve daily production targets.
Monitor product quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety procedures and company policies.
Identify operational issues and coordinate for timely corrective action.
Maintain proper housekeeping and hygiene across the plant.




Prepare and maintain basic production and operational reports.
Support the Plant Manager in planning and controlling daily plant activities.
Ensure employees follow safety procedures and standard operating practices.
Assist in manpower allocation and effective utilization of plant personnel.

Requirements
Full-time B.Tech in Dairy Technology (or Dairy Science & Technology / Food Technology) in first class.
Candidate from reputed and recognized agricultural or veterinary university/institute.
4–8 years of experience in dairy, food processing, manufacturing, or a similar industry.
Experience in handling production teams and machine operators.
Knowledge of dairy production and packing operations will be an advantage.
Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, quality, and workplace safety.
Valuable leadership, communication, and team-handling skills.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment.
Willingness to work in shifts as required.Advantages
