Job Summary:
An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization's financial operations. The role involves analyzing financial data, maintaining accurate records, and assisting management in making informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and company policies.
Support internal and external audits.
Monitor financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
Calculate and prepare tax returns and other regulatory filings.
Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting,



Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Valuable communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Qualified certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA.
Experience with ERP systems and financial management software.
Knowledge of local tax laws and regulatory requirements.
