Steward / Waiter – Café

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and well-mannered Steward / Waiter to join our café team. The candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a smooth dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist customers in a polite and qualified manner.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen/bar team.
Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
Explain menu items and make recommendations to customers when required.
Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and ready for customers.
Check on customers during their visit and respond to their requests.
Clear and reset tables efficiently.
Coordinate with kitchen and café staff to ensure timely service.
Handle customer feedback and escalate issues to the supervisor/manager.
Follow café hygiene, cleanliness, and food-safety standards.
Assist with opening and closing duties, stock movement, and general café operations when required.
Maintain a neat, clean,



and presentable appearance at all times.

Requirements
Previous experience as a Waiter, Steward, Captain, or Restaurant Service Staff is preferred.
Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may also apply.
Positive communication and customer-service skills.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant/café workplace.
Must be punctual, disciplined, and reliable.
Ability to work versatile shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Basic English/Hindi/Telugu communication is an advantage.
