nJob Summary
nThe Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Commerce & Accountancy will be responsible for providing robust subject expertise in Commerce and Accountancy and supporting the development, review, and enhancement of curriculum and academic content.
nThe role will focus particularly on Accountancy, along with Commerce-related subjects, and will involve curriculum planning, content development, assessment design, academic quality assurance, and providing subject-specific support to teachers. The SME will ensure that all learning resources are accurate, curriculum-aligned, age-appropriate, and designed to develop students' conceptual understanding and application skills.

Develop, review,



and enhance curriculum content for Commerce and Accountancy in alignment with the school's academic framework.n
Take primary responsibility for Accountancy content, ensuring solid conceptual accuracy and appropriate progression of topics.n
Develop lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, study materials, case studies, activities, assignments, and other academic resources.n
Create engaging and application-oriented learning resources that encourage analytical and financial thinking.n
Develop and review content covering areas such as:n
Basic Accounting Principles and Conceptsn
Journal, Ledger and Trial Balancen
Depreciation and Adjustmentsn
Financial Statementsn
Partnership Accountsn
Company Accountsn
Cash Flow Statementsn
Accounting Ratiosn
