N1. Job Purpose
nTodeliver high-quality teaching in English language, literature and related areas;
engage students throughinnovative teaching methodologies;
contribute to curriculum development, research, academic administration, and the overall development of the University.
N2. Key Responsibilities
NTeaching & Learning
n
N
Plan and deliver lectures, tutorials, seminars and practical/communication-based English sessions. N
Teach subjects such as English Literature, Communication Skills, Business Communication, Academic Writing, Grammar, Language Skills, and related courses. N
Prepare lesson plans, course materials, presentations, assignments and assessments. N
Use up-to-date teaching methods, ICT tools, LMS and blended-learning techniques. N
Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students.

Conduct remedial and enrichment classes wherever required. N

nAssessment & Academic Activities
N

Prepare question papers, assignments, quizzes and examination materials. N
Evaluate answer scripts, assignments, projects and presentations. N
Maintain student attendance, academic records and other departmental documentation. N
Participate in internaland external examination duties. N
Support curriculum review and development. N

nResearch & Publications
N
n
Conduct research in English Language, Literature, Linguistics, Communication or related areas. N
Publish research papersin reputed journals and present papers at conferences/seminars. N
Participate in researchprojects, workshops, FDPs and academic conferences. N
Contribute to the University's research and publication activities. N
