As a Visual Arts Teacher , you will be responsible for fostering a creative and engaging learning workplace for students of the IB curriculum. You will develop and deliver a visual arts curriculum that supports the philosophy and promotes the holistic development of students.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development and Implementation:

Design and implement a comprehensive visual arts curriculum aligned with the IB framework.
/n
Develop lesson plans that incorporate inquiry-based learning, focusing on conceptual understanding and student agency.
/n
Integrate visual arts with other subjects through interdisciplinary units of inquiry.
/n

Instruction and Facilitation:

Provide engaging and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
/n
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and tools to facilitate artistic expression and creativity.
/n
Encourage students to explore different mediums and techniques in visual arts.

Assessment and Reporting:

Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.

Maintain accurate records of student achievements and prepare reports in line with IB requirements.
/n
Conduct student-led conferences and contribute to the development of student portfolios.

Professional Development:

Participate in ongoing career development opportunities to stay current with IB practices and visual arts education.

Qualifications:
