Role Description
The Land Acquisition Specialist is a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for identifying suitable land parcels, evaluating their potential for development, and managing the end-to-end acquisition process. Daily tasks include conducting site visits and market research, coordinating with landowners, local authorities, and internal stakeholders, and performing preliminary due diligence on legal, regulatory, and environmental aspects. The specialist will prepare and review acquisition proposals, support contract negotiations, and maintain detailed documentation and reports on ongoing and completed transactions. The role also involves collaborating with project and development teams to ensure that acquired land aligns with business objectives and compliance requirements.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess solid Land Acquisition and Land Development skills, with experience identifying, assessing, and securing suitable land parcels.
Candidates should possess solid Contract Negotiation skills, including the ability to draft,



review, and negotiate agreements with landowners and stakeholders.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, enabling transparent interactions with landowners, government officials, legal advisors, and internal teams.
Candidates should possess practical Due Diligence skills, including assessment of legal titles, regulatory approvals, and potential risks associated with land transactions.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in real estate, urban planning, civil engineering, law, business, or a related field are preferred.
Beneficial skills include knowledge of local land laws and regulations, proficiency in documentation and basic MS Office tools, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a track record of managing multiple acquisitions simultaneously.
