Role Overview

The Legal Counsel will play a key role in supporting Zensar's commercial and business operations by drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of technology and commercial agreements. The role requires a commercially minded legal professional who can effectively partner with internal stakeholders and provide pragmatic legal solutions in a rapid-paced technology setting.

Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts with customers, partners, and vendors.
Support contract negotiations for:
Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
Statements of Work (SOWs)
Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
SaaS and Software Licensing Agreements
Strategic Partnership Agreements
Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)




Vendor and Subcontractor Agreements
Consulting and Skilled Services Agreements
Provide timely and practical legal advice on contractual, commercial, operational, and compliance-related matters.
Identify and mitigate legal and business risks while enabling commercial objectives.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, Delivery, HR, Finance, Information Security, and Leadership teams.
Support privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and standard legal processes.
Manage contract lifecycle activities and ensure compliance with company policies.
Assist in dispute resolution and handling legal notices, claims, and escalations when required.

Required Qualifications
LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.
3 - 8 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
