Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai for an HVAC Design & Cost Estimation Engineer. The role involves designing HVAC systems for healthcare-related facilities, preparing detailed load calculations, and selecting appropriate equipment and components. The engineer will develop layouts and schematics for HVAC and related plumbing systems, coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing cost estimates and BOQs, supporting tender and bid documentation, reviewing drawings and specifications, and providing technical input during installation and commissioning phases.



The role also requires maintaining accurate project documentation, supporting client meetings, and contributing to continuous improvement of design and estimation processes.

Qualifications
Strong knowledge and practical experience in HVAC Design and HVAC system configuration for industrial and healthcare facilities.
Competence in Mechanical Engineering fundamentals and related Calculations for load, energy consumption, and equipment sizing.
Understanding of Plumbing system layouts and integration with HVAC and utility services.
Ability to prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and technical proposals using engineering data and project specifications.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Experience working on projects in pharmaceutical, biotech, hospitals, or similar regulated environments is an advantage.
Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and MS Office tools.
Attention to detail, solid analytical skills, and the ability to interpret standards, codes, and client requirements.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients on-site.
