Head - Projects (API Manufacturing)

Location: Bidar, Karnataka

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head - Projects to lead and manage capital projects, plant expansions, brownfield/greenfield initiatives, for our CDMO API manufacturing facility. The role requires robust leadership in project execution, stakeholder management, regulatory compliance, and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end execution of capital projects, including greenfield, brownfield, expansion, and debottlenecking initiatives.
Develop project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, EHS, Procurement, Engineering, and Validation teams for seamless project execution.
Manage design, installation, commissioning, qualification, and handover of manufacturing facilities and utilities.
Ensure compliance with cGMP, regulatory requirements, engineering standards, and company quality systems.




Drive project completion within approved cost, schedule, and quality parameters.
Manage contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely and secure execution of projects.
Establish and monitor engineering documentation in line with GDP and compliance requirements.
Ensure effective implementation of safety policies, risk assessments, and statutory regulations across all project activities.
Lead, mentor, and develop project teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Desired Profile
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical or related discipline).
Proven experience in leading projects within the Pharmaceutical/API industry.
Robust knowledge of cGMP, project management, engineering systems, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and team-building skills.
