Job Description:

Head – Technology, Network Engineering & Systems

Role Purpose

Own the strategy, architecture, engineering, deployment and lifecycle management of the Broadband/ISP network, ensuring scalable, resilient, cost-productive and customer-centric connectivity. The role should translate business growth plans into network capacity, architecture and technology roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities
Network Strategy & Architecture
Define the 3–5 year network technology roadmap aligned with business and subscriber growth.
Own architecture across Core, Aggregation, Access, IP/MPLS, GPON/FTTH, Wi-Fi, DNS and Internet Peering.
Drive network modernization, automation and virtualization.

Network Engineering & Capacity Planning
Design and engineer recent network expansions and upgrades.
Capacity planning based on subscriber growth, traffic patterns and bandwidth consumption.
Ensure scalability, redundancy and optimal network utilization.

Network Transformation
Drive network automation, observability and AI/analytics-led network management.
Establish architecture and engineering standards for high availability.
Partner with Customer Experience, Care and Operations teams to eliminate network-related complaints.




Ensure network architecture incorporates cybersecurity, DDoS protection, access controls and regulatory requirements.

Technology & Vendor Management
Evaluate and select network technologies and strategic vendors.
Manage OEM relationships and technical evaluations.
Ensure network architecture incorporates cybersecurity, DDoS protection, access controls and regulatory requirements.

Systems & Infrastructure
Oversee Data centre, cloud, servers, storage and virtualization
OSS/BSS infrastructure & Systems performance and capacity management
API/integration layer and application architecture, Self-care/mobile app/web portals

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

Ideal Candidate Profile
20+ years of experience in telecommunications, ISP, broadband, digital infrastructure or technology-led businesses.
Solid understanding of FTTH, GPON/XGS-PON, IP networking, NOC, Service Assurance, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Automation, Data and Digital Technologies.
Experience with OSS/BSS, CRM, billing, provisioning and network management platforms.
Proven experience in managing large technology teams and significant CAPEX/OPEX budgets.
