Full-time Chef

$30/hr + super | $37.50 Saturday | $45 Sunday
Full-time role (weekends with penalty rates)

You’ll be working as part of a professional team producing fresh, quality food for students and the wider college community.

The Position
Prepare and deliver fresh, high-quality meals for school students and events
Lead daily kitchen operations while maintaining safety and quality standards
Mentor and support kitchen staff, fostering a positive, service-focused culture
Ensure full OH&S; compliance, following secure work practices and food handling procedures
Manage stock levels and ordering to meet budget requirements
Support training and development of apprentices and junior chefs

The Person




Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) for the Chef’s role
Experience as a Chef for the Chef’s role
Experience as a Cook for the Cook’s role
Skilled in bulk cooking with a solid focus on quality and presentation
Excellent time management, attention to detail, and food safety knowledge
A team player who can also work independently
Obtain a Blue Card (paid)
