Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Australian Accountant / Senior Accountant to manage accounting, bookkeeping, BAS, GST, payroll, taxation, reconciliations, and financial reporting for Australian clients.

Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and review BAS, GST, PAYG and payroll.
Process and reconcile superannuation and STP.
Assist with Australian individual, company and trust tax returns.
Prepare P&L;, Balance Sheet and year-end workpapers.
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.




Communicate with Australian clients and follow up for required information.
Ensure work is accurate and completed within deadlines.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

*Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably Australian accounting.
Solid knowledge of Australian accounting, GST, BAS, PAYG, payroll and superannuation.
Experience with Xero and Excel is essential.
MYOB, XPM and QuickBooks experience is preferred.
Positive communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client files.
