We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Power Platform Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. This role requires a strong technical foundation and the ability to translate high-level business requirements into scalable, intuitive, and efficient solutions while driving process automation and enhancing user experience.
The candidate should have strong hands-on experience across multiple Power Platform technologies and be capable of designing and delivering end-to-end solutions, rather than focusing solely on Power Apps development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy business applications using Power Apps, including Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.
- Build and maintain workflows, approvals, and business process automations using Power Automate.
- Design and work with Dataverse, including tables, relationships, security roles, business rules, and data models.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI.
- Design and implement integrations between Power Platform and enterprise systems using REST APIs, custom connectors, Azure services, SQL, Share Point, Dynamics 365, and other data sources.
- Develop and enhance solutions involving Service Now workflows, automation, integrations, scripting, or reporting, where applicable.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and independently determine appropriate solution approaches.
- Create technical documentation and solution/design diagrams for applications, integrations, workflows, and data models.
- Support net-current application development, enhancements, troubleshooting, and optimization of existing solutions.
- Implement Power Platform best practices around security, governance, environments, ALM, and CI/CD.
- Develop AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and AI Agents, where applicable.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams throughout requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Hands-on experience developing Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.
- Hands-on experience with Dataverse, including data modeling, relationships, security, and application integration.
- Experience integrating Power Platform with enterprise applications and data sources using REST APIs, custom connectors, SQL, Share Point, Azure, or Dynamics 365.
- Knowledge of Power Fx and Power Platform development best practices.
- Experience with ALM, Dev/Test/Production environments, solution deployment, security, and governance.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Ability to work effectively across the solution lifecycle, from requirements and design through development, deployment, and support.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Service Now development or integration experience, including workflows, automation, scripting, APIs, reporting, or custom application development.
- Experience integrating Service Now with Power Platform or other enterprise applications.
- Experience with Power BI, including data modeling and DAX.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, AI Agents, or AI-enabled automation.
- Experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, or Azure Dev Ops.
- Experience working in automotive, manufacturing, or complex enterprise environments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications are a plus.
- Service Now certifications, such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD), are a plus.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
