Responsibilities are: - Strategically plan and managelogistics, transportation and customer services. Co-ordinatinginbound and outbound material. Liaise and negotiate withtransporters. Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels,delivery times, transport costs and efficiency Prepare plan routesand process shipments. Resolve any arising problems or complaintsduring transportation of goods from factory to customer Selectcarriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts withcarriers. Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements Shouldhave through knowledge of Export and Import documents andrequirements.



Negotiating rates and maintaining relationships withtransporters, suppliers and freight forwarders. Handling ofpackaging of materials. Knowledge of shipment / sample bookingthrough courier companies like FedEx / DHL / Blue Dart. OtherAttributes: Positive communication, presentation and negotiationskills. Self-motivated, intelligent, dynamic person who can quicklylearn Good analytical skill. Building and retaining relationshipsVarious transport company. Ability to work independently. Should beable to handle work pressure. Aggressively result oriented andself-starter.
