We are looking for a dynamic individual to join as afull-time Associate who will work closely with a leading financeorganisation. The Associate will work on developing the BlendedFinance practice in line with the organisation's strategy. An idealAssociate will be a self-starter, analytical, entrepreneurial andhave excellent written and verbal communication skills. S/he willhave a proven track record of taking initiative in a work settingand demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively with peopleat all levels within the organisation, as well as with otherexternal stakeholders in the ecosystem. The role will require theAssociate to conduct research and analysis on the blended financemarket and opportunities; help design blended finance structures,prepare fundraising materials for transactions, and manage projectsunder blended structures; assist in organisational growth anddevelopment. S/he will work closely with partner organizations leaddiscussions with key stakeholders. This role is ideal for someonewho has a strong passion for working in the development sector andis at ease interacting with a range of stakeholders, includingsocial enterprises, corporate leaders, funders, investors,not-for-profits and policymakers. Roles and ResponsibilitiesResearch, analysis and writing: Conduct targeted primary andsecondary research on the core issues and potential solutions inimpact sectors such as climate action, education, skilling,employment, and healthcare. Create presentations, concept notes,and research reports for internal and external consumption DealSourcing and Structuring : Identify relevant opportunities andpartners in the social impact sector suited for BlendedFinance/Outcome-Based Financing projects. Develop a thoroughunderstanding of the key issue areas, interventions and outcomeindicators to help with project design and structuring Projectmanagement and governance:



Support the organisation's leadership tomanage and implement blended finance investments and projectsStakeholder management: Develop and manage relationships withsocial impact organisations, non-profits, funders, policy makers,sector experts and key ecosystem players to effectively deliver onthe organisation's projects Organisational Development: Support theoverall growth and development of the organisation, includingpreparing presentations for internal discussions and boardmeetings, developing marketing materials, updating website content,drafting grant proposals, annual reports and helping withorganisation events Functional Details: Qualifications: Bachelor'sor Master's degree in relevant fields (e.g., Business, Economics,Finance, Engineering, Public Policy) 3-6 years of work experiencein investing, consulting, start-ups, corporate roles, developmentthink tank or public policy Excellent analytical, criticalthinking, problem-solving, and financial modelling skillsWillingness to work on the ground with social enterprises and NGOsto help them achieve better outcomes through their interventionsunder blended finance projects. Robust verbal and writtencommunication skills and the ability to effectively communicatewith a broad range of stakeholders, including government, private,and non-profit sector practitioners Demonstrated leadership andability to manage work streams independently without support staffand with little supervision Operating style suited to working in asmall-organisation setting, where teamwork and resourcefulness arehighly valued An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work ina fast-paced environment Passion to work in the development/ socialimpact space Willingness to travel 30% of the time (or more ifneeded) across India, including to rural areas Compensation: Salarywill be commensurate with experience and competitive within theimpact investment industry
