HIRING Fund Manager Category II AIF

We are looking for an experienced Fund Manager / Portfolio Manager to lead investment strategy, portfolio management and end-to-end investment activities for a Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF).

This is a senior-level opportunity for an investment professional who can independently evaluate investment opportunities, manage portfolios, participate in investment decisions and work closely with the Investment Committee and investors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute investment strategy across Private Equity, Growth Capital, Structured/Private Credit and Real Assets.
- Lead deal sourcing, screening, financial analysis, due diligence and investment evaluation.
- Conduct financial modelling, DCF valuation, EV/EBITDA, P/E and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
- Prepare investment proposals/memos and present opportunities to the Investment Committee.
- Lead portfolio construction and monitor portfolio company performance, risk and returns.
- Evaluate exit opportunities including strategic sale, IPO, secondary sale and buyback.
- Manage portfolio-level risks including concentration, liquidity and sector risks.
- Prepare investor reports covering portfolio performance, NAV, outlook and risk commentary.
- Interact with HNIs, Family Offices and Institutional Investors.
- Support fundraising, investor presentations and LP/investor due diligence.




- Ensure investment activities comply with applicable SEBI AIF regulations and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor investment analysts/research professionals.

Candidate Profile:

- MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA.
- Strong experience in Private Equity, Growth Capital, Structured/Private Credit, Alternative Investments or Fund Management.
- Hands-on experience in fund or portfolio management is strongly preferred.
- Experience with a SEBI-registered Category II or Category III AIF will be an advantage.
- Candidates with substantial hands-on exposure to investment decisions, deal execution, portfolio management or Investment Committee participation are encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and investor relationship skills.
- NISM AIF Manager certification will be an added advantage.
