Role & responsibilities

Identify, develop, and manage new and existing business opportunities for starch and

derivative products.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and channel

partners.

Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate product solutions in line

with applications (food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, textiles, packaging, paper, etc.).

Assist in preparing business proposals/quotations, and provide relevant information

to customers.

Support in achieving monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets and contribute to

revenue growth.

Conduct regular market research to track industry trends, competitor activities, and

customer preferences.

Coordinate with the technical and R&D; teams to support customers with product

trials, applications, and troubleshooting.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing, delivery, and

customer support.

Support in managing sales documentation including contracts, invoices, and credit

follow-up.





Provide periodic sales reports, forecasts, and MIS updates.

Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meetings.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemistry, Food Technology, or

related field. MBA maybe preferred.

3 to 5 years of sales experience in the starch, food ingredients, chemicals, or allied

industries.

Robust understanding of B2B sales and industrial marketing.

Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to quickly grasp and understand the business environment, market trends,

competition, feasibility, end-use applications, and new developments.

Willingness to travel extensively to meet customers and explore new markets.

Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.

Comfortable in a fluid, high-change environment.
