Role & responsibilities

- Coordinate material planning and ensure timely availability of raw materials and bought-out parts for production.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock to avoid shortages and excess inventory.
- Follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery and schedule adherence.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Manage inward and outward logistics activities and improve delivery performance.
- Track supplier performance, delivery schedules, and material shortages.
- Prepare daily MIS reports related to inventory, dispatches, production support, and material availability.
- Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods as per customer requirements.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and support periodic stock audits and cycle counts.




- Drive cost reduction and inventory optimization initiatives.
- Resolve supply chain bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with ERP/SAP transaction processes and documentation requirements.
- Support new project launches and customer demand fulfillment activities.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.Tech / MBA / Graduate with relevant SCM experience.
- 3-8 years (Executive) / 6-12 years (Sr. Executive) in automotive manufacturing.
- Experience in Material Planning, Inventory Management, Procurement Coordination, Stores, Logistics, and Dispatch.
- Working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems.
- Solid analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
