Job Description – Civil Supervisor

Position: Civil Supervisor – Building & Waterproofing Work
Location: Jamshedpur, Jharkhand
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month
Experience: 2–5 years preferred
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a Civil Supervisor with practical knowledge of building construction, civil work, and waterproofing. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, managing workers, ensuring quality workmanship, and coordinating with clients and the company team.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day civil and waterproofing work at project sites.
- Manage and coordinate labour, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved SOP, drawings, specifications, and company standards.
- Inspect site conditions and identify civil/waterproofing problems.
- Supervise different waterproofing works such as:
- Terrace/Roof Waterproofing
- PU Coating & PU Injection Grouting
- Nozzle/Pressure Grouting
- APP Membrane Waterproofing
- Bathroom & Sunken Slab Waterproofing
- Basement Waterproofing
- Water Tank Waterproofing
- Crack Repair & Dampness Treatment
- HDPE Sheet Installation
- Check material consumption and ensure proper application of waterproofing materials.
- Maintain daily site reports, manpower details, material requirements, and work progress.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, and office staff.
- Ensure proper safety practices at the site.




- Take measurements of completed work and assist in preparing work reports and quotations.
- Travel to different project sites in and around Jamshedpur as required.

Required Skills

- Good practical knowledge of civil construction and building works.
- Robust knowledge of waterproofing methods and applications.
- Ability to handle and supervise site manpower.
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools.
- Ability to understand drawings and site measurements.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Word and WhatsApp for reporting.
- Must be willing to work at different project sites.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction, waterproofing, building maintenance, or site supervision.

Salary & Benefits

₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month, depending on experience and technical knowledge.
