# JOB DESCRIPTION ### Housekeeping – Guest Service Associate (GSA) **Position:** Guest Service Associate – Housekeeping **Department:** Housekeeping **Reports To:** Executive Housekeeper / Assistant Executive Housekeeper **Location:** Hotel ### Job Purpose To maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout guest rooms and public areas while providing friendly and efficient service to guests. ### Key Responsibilities * Clean and maintain guest rooms, corridors, and assigned public areas as per hotel standards. * Make beds, change bed linen, towels, and other room supplies as required. * Replenish guest amenities and housekeeping supplies. * Ensure guest rooms are properly arranged and meet the hotel's cleanliness standards. * Clean and maintain bathrooms, including sanitization of fixtures and surfaces. * Report maintenance issues, damages, lost & found items, and safety concerns to the concerned department. * Handle guest requests and provide prompt and courteous service. * Follow all hotel procedures related to hygiene, safety, security, and cleanliness. * Maintain proper use and care of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and housekeeping materials. * Ensure all cleaning chemicals are used according to safety guidelines. * Coordinate with Front Office regarding room status and guest requirements. * Support the housekeeping team during high occupancy, events, and special assignments. * Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping pantries,



trolleys, and service areas. * Follow Lost & Found procedures and immediately hand over found items to the designated person. * Maintain professional grooming, personal hygiene, and a positive attitude at all times. * Attend departmental briefings, training sessions, and meetings as required. * Perform any other duties assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or management. ### Skills & Competencies * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Guest-oriented attitude. * Positive attention to detail. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Knowledge of basic housekeeping procedures. * Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively. * Good personal grooming and hygiene. * Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays. ### Qualification & Experience * Minimum qualification: **10th / 12th / Diploma in Hotel Management** or equivalent. * Freshers can be considered. * Previous hotel housekeeping experience will be an added advantage. ### Key Performance Areas (KPIs) * Guest room cleanliness and presentation. * Guest satisfaction. * Productivity and timely completion of assigned rooms. * Compliance with hotel hygiene and safety standards. * Proper handling of hotel equipment and supplies. * Grooming and professional conduct. * Teamwork and communication.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹25,322.01 per month
