About the Role

BSM NGO is looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Operations & Marketing Intern to work closely with the founder and co-founder and support the organization's day-to-day activities.

This is a hands-on, multi-functional internship. Since the organization is currently managed primarily by the founder and co-founder, the selected candidate will receive direct guidance from them and will gradually take responsibility for different operational activities as they become familiar with the organization's work.

Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing & Outreach

- Assist with the NGO's marketing and outreach activities.
- Help identify and communicate with potential supporters, partners and other relevant contacts.

2. Sales & Communication

- Make phone calls and communicate with prospective contacts as required.
- Assist with outreach and follow-up activities.
- Maintain basic records of calls, contacts and follow-ups.

3. Data & Administrative Support

- Perform basic data-entry and record-maintenance activities.
- Maintain and organize information related to the NGO's activities.

4. Food & Community Activities

- Assist with food preparation and kitchen-related activities when required as part of the NGO's food-service programs.
- Assist during food distribution and community-support activities.
- Visit charity, food-distribution locations in Rajkot along with the founder/co-founder when required.




- Assist with basic videography of NGO activities.

5. Operations & Team Coordination

- As the intern gains experience and demonstrates the required skills, they may be given responsibility for coordinating and supervising other people involved in specific activities.

What We Are Looking For

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to take responsibility and learn different aspects of NGO operations.
- Comfortable communicating with people over the phone and in person.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills.
- Ability to work in a hands-on setting and support different operational activities.
- Gujarati language proficiency is preferred.
- Prior NGO experience is not required; willingness to learn is significant.

Internship & Growth Opportunity

Candidates who perform well during the internship may be considered for a full-time position after successful completion of the internship, subject to performance, organizational requirements and mutual agreement. Full-time compensation will be discussed based on the responsibilities of the position and the candidate's performance.

NOTE: The role may involve local travel within Rajkot for NGO activities, charity visits, food distribution and community programs.

Pay: ₹7,500.00 per month
