- Perform fabrication and fitting activities as per engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Read and understand fabrication drawings, dimensions, tolerances and welding symbols.
- Measure, mark and prepare raw materials such as MS, SS and other sheet/structural materials.
- Perform cutting, drilling, grinding, tapping and other fitting operations.
- Carry out fit-up and tack welding preparation before welding.
- Ensure proper alignment, squareness, level and dimensions of fabricated components.
- Select and use appropriate hand tools, power tools, clamps and fixtures.
- Perform assembly of fabricated parts and structures as per drawings.
- Check dimensions and fitment using measuring instruments such as measuring tape, Vernier Caliper, try square, spirit level and angle gauge.
- Coordinate with Welders and ensure proper fit-up before welding.
- Inspect fabricated components for dimensional accuracy and visual defects.
- Identify and report dimensional deviations, material defects or quality issues to the Supervisor/Quality team.
- Make necessary corrections in fabrication and fitting as instructed.
- Handle materials safely during loading, shifting and positioning.
- Achieve daily production targets and complete jobs within the planned schedule.
- Maintain tools,



fixtures and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety procedures and use required PPE such as safety shoes, gloves, helmet, goggles and face shield.
- Maintain 5S and housekeeping in the fabrication area.
- Minimize material wastage, rework and rejection.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Welding and other departments for smooth workflow.

Required Skills

- Positive knowledge of fabrication and mechanical fitting.
- Ability to read fabrication and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of welding symbols and basic welding processes.
- Good knowledge of cutting, grinding, drilling and fit-up activities.
- Ability to perform accurate measurement and marking.
- Knowledge of MS/SS materials and basic fabrication practices.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
- Good understanding of alignment, squareness and level.
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
