Job Title: Plant Manager

Reports To: COO / General Manager / Managing Director
Experience: 8–15+ years in manufacturing/plant operations
Qualification: MBA in Operations preferred

Job Summary

The Plant Manager will be responsible for managing the complete day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, cost controls, and timely delivery are achieved. The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and operational management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise overall plant operations and production activities.
- Plan production schedules according to customer demand and business targets.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within timelines and budgets.
- Monitor productivity, efficiency, downtime, and operational costs.
- Ensure quality standards and production specifications are maintained.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, HR, and Dispatch teams.
- Manage manpower planning, shift schedules, and workforce productivity.
- Ensure availability and efficient utilization of raw materials and resources.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, or other process-improvement initiatives.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, statutory,



and company policies.
- Investigate production issues, breakdowns, quality problems, and process deviations.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly plant performance reports.
- Control wastage, scrap, rework, and production losses.
- Develop and monitor departmental KPIs.
- Train, motivate, and develop plant employees and supervisors.
- Coordinate with senior management on plant performance and improvement projects.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
