*About Us:*

Atharva House of Sarees is a direct manufacturer of Pure Mysore Silk Sarees with our own looms, offering premium gold and silver zari varieties. We're looking for a creative, technically skilled Fashion Designer to help shape the next chapter of our custom-made saree offerings.

*Role Overview:*

We need a designer who can customise borders and patterns, develop recent original designs, and pair them with well-matched colour palettes — someone with a genuine eye for how motifs, weave, and colour come together on silk. This person will build and lead our custom saree design vertical, working directly with our weaving team to translate design concepts into finished pieces.

*Key Responsibilities:*

- Customise existing border/pattern motifs (Floral, Mango, Peacock, Elephant, etc.) per client requests

- Design new original patterns and borders suited to Mysore silk weaving techniques

- Curate and recommend colour combinations for gold/silver zari and silk body

- Work with our loom/weaving team to ensure designs are weave-feasible and quality-consistent

- Manage end-to-end custom order design process,



from client brief to final approved design

- Stay current on saree/textile design trends while maintaining Atharva's quiet-luxury aesthetic

- Collaborate with the marketing team on new collection launches and expo showcases

*Requirements:*

- NIFT graduate or equivalent diploma/degree in Fashion/Textile Design

- Prior experience in the textile/saree industry (silk weaving background strongly preferred)

- Strong understanding of traditional South Indian saree motifs, weaves, and border patterns

- Excellent colour sense and pattern-making skills

- A genuine passion for reviving and innovating handloom silk saree design

- Ability to work on-site in Bangalore full-time
