- Line Setting and Balancing: Organize sewing machines, assign operators based on skill, and balance work flow to reduce bottlenecks and control work-in-progress (WIP). [1]
- Target Achievement: Meet daily, weekly, and monthly apparel production targets set by management. [1, 2]
- Quality Control: Conduct regular checks during cutting, stitching, and finishing to minimize defects and ensure garments match approved samples. [1]
- Team Leadership: Train current or unskilled operators on the job, motivate staff, maintain floor discipline, and run shift briefings. [1, 2, 3]
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce workplace safety rules, proper machinery use, and labor compliance guidelines. [1, 2, 3]
- Reporting: Track output volume, downtime, and efficiency metrics to prepare daily production reports.
