Head Chef — Secret Slice Society

Secret Slice Society (SSS) is a modern, vegetarian Italian pizzeria in Ludhiana, focused on New York-style pizza, fresh pasta, contemporary Italian food and an experience-led dining culture.

We are looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen and take complete ownership of food, kitchen operations and culinary standards.

The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about modern Italian cuisine, understands pizza and pasta deeply, has robust leadership skills, and is excited to build something rather than simply run an existing kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the complete kitchen team and daily operations
- Maintain consistency, quality, presentation and taste across the menu
- Develop new dishes, specials and seasonal menus
- Have strong knowledge of pizza, pasta, sauces, dough, fermentation and Italian cooking techniques
- Create and maintain recipes, SOPs, prep systems and kitchen processes
- Manage food costs, wastage, inventory and kitchen procurement




- Train and develop the kitchen team
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety and kitchen discipline
- Work closely with the founders on menu development and the overall culinary direction of SSS

Ideal Candidate:

- 5+ years of professional kitchen experience, with relevant experience in Italian/modern restaurants
- Strong understanding of pizza and pasta
- Experience managing and training a kitchen team
- Good knowledge of food costing and kitchen operations
- Creative, detail-oriented and highly organised
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Someone who genuinely loves food and wants to be part of building a distinctive F&B; brand

Employment: Full-time

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
