Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer with strong hands-on experience in CNC machining, manufacturing process development, tooling, and precision machining.

The candidate will support manufacturing operations and the setup of a new manufacturing facility in India. The role will focus on CNC machining, process development, tooling, production efficiency, quality improvement, cost control, and continuous improvement.

Candidates with experience in Oil & Gas equipment, Metal, Iron & Steel, Heavy Engineering, Precision Machining, or similar industrial manufacturing sectors will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for machined and precision-engineered components.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing routings.
- Review engineering drawings and determine suitable machining methods, tooling, and processes.
- Develop and modify CNC programs for machining operations.
- Support CNC turning, milling, boring, grinding, honing, and related machining processes.
- Select and develop suitable cutting tools, fixtures, jigs, and tooling.
- Conduct manufacturing feasibility, cycle time, and cost studies.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting on the shop floor.
- Monitor CNC machine, tooling, and equipment performance.
- Coordinate with suppliers for tooling, machining services, and manufacturing requirements.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost,



technical capability, and delivery performance.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, QHSE, Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams.
- Support root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality improvement activities.
- Maintain manufacturing process, tooling, CNC programming, and technical documentation.
- Support ERP/MRP and SAP-related manufacturing activities.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and setup of plant machinery and equipment.
- Support implementation of manufacturing processes for the new India facility.
- Train production personnel on machining processes, tooling, setups, and operating procedures.
- Monitor KPIs related to productivity, quality, cost, and delivery.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement and cost-reduction opportunities.

Required Industry Experience

Candidates with relevant manufacturing experience in one or more of the following industries will be preferred:

Strong preference will be given to candidates who have worked with CNC machining of industrial or heavy-engineering components.

Requirements





- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5–10 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or a similar role.
- Solid hands-on experience in CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with CNC turning, milling, boring, grinding, honing, or similar processes.
- Experience in CNC programming and machining process development.
- Good knowledge of tooling, fixtures, jigs, and cutting tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, NX, Mastercam, EdgeCAM, or similar.
- Knowledge of manufacturing cost analysis, cycle-time improvement, and process optimization.
- Experience with ERP/MRP or SAP systems will be an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Ability to work with production teams, suppliers, and other technical departments.
