Job Summary
Nila is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Retail executive for Nila shop in Bangalore. The associate will assist the shop incharge in delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidates will possess a strong passion for design and handmade crafts, and a commitment to maintaining the boutique’s luxurious ambiance.
Roles and responsibilities
Customer Service:
Greet and assist customers with a warm and professional demeanor.
Provide in-depth knowledge of products, including their design, craftsmanship, and unique features.
Address customer inquiries, offer personalized recommendations, and resolve any issues or complaints effectively.
Sales Support:
Actively engage with customers to drive sales and meet individual and store targets.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
Maintain a high standard of product presentation through effective visual merchandising.
Store Maintenance:
Assist in maintaining the store’s cleanliness and organization, ensuring a pleasant shopping environment.
Help with restocking shelves, managing inventory and organizing the backroom.
Support the implementation of visual merchandising and store layout plans to enhance product displays.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the Shop incharge and other team members to achieve store goals and provide seamless customer service.
Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Contribute to a positive and team-oriented team atmosphere.
Administrative Tasks:
Assist in handling store administrative tasks, including inventory counts and updating stock records.
Follow store policies and procedures to ensure compliance with operational standards.
Support in preparing reports and providing feedback on sales performance
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
· Strong interest in design, handmade crafts, and luxury products is beneficial.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
· Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and retail management software is a plus.
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field is a plus.
Language Fluency
English and Hindi (spoken and written)
Skills and Competencies
· Attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to multitask and manage priorities efficiently.
· Team player with a proactive approach
· Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Working Hours & Days
6 days a week (Monday to Saturday, 8 hours)
As per the organisations work requirement, candidate might have to work on some Sundays.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 per month
