Planning Manager – Garment Industry

Are you an experienced garment production planning professional who can turn production schedules into real results?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of T&A; planning, micro planning, production coordination and Plan vs. Actual performance in a fast-paced garment manufacturing environment in Tiruppur.

You will work closely with factory and merchandising teams to ensure production milestones are planned, tracked and completed on time—from PP Meeting through shipment.

What You’ll Be Responsible ForOwn the Production Plan

- Prepare and manage the Master T&A; Plan from order receipt to shipment.
- Track planned vs. actual dates and identify delays before they affect shipment.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to keep critical milestones on schedule.

Manage Detailed Micro Plans

Plan and monitor key production activities including:

- PP Meeting
- Size Set
- Fabric & Trims Receipt
- Fabric Checking
- Cutting
- Printing
- Embroidery
- Sewing Start & End
- Pre-Final
- Final
- Loading

Drive Daily Production Follow-Up

- Monitor production activities and micro plans on a daily basis.
- Coordinate with Factory Managers and production teams across Unit 2 and Unit 3.
- Identify bottlenecks, delays and production risks.
- Follow up with responsible teams and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Coordinate With Merchandising

- Share daily T&A; deviations and production updates through email.
- Communicate important delays, milestones and execution status clearly.
- Work with merchandising and factory teams to support smooth order execution.

Support Capacity Planning

- Monitor installed capacity vs. order booking capacity.
- Prepare monthly capacity updates.




- Highlight capacity gaps and potential production constraints.
- Provide clear capacity information to the merchandising team.

Maintain Clear Reporting

- Maintain accurate planning and production reports.
- Prepare Plan vs. Actual performance reports.
- Provide stakeholders with timely production status updates.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who understands garment production planning practically, not just theoretically.

You should have:

- 2–5 years of relevant garment production planning experience
- Strong knowledge of T&A; and micro planning
- Good understanding of the garment production cycle from PP Meeting to shipment
- Knowledge of cutting, printing, embroidery, sewing, inspection and loading
- Solid production follow-up and coordination abilities
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
- Good professional email communication
- Ability to manage multiple production activities simultaneously
- Understanding of production capacity and order-loading requirements
- Any Degree qualification

Performance Focus

The key performance expectation for this role is maintaining strong Plan vs. Actual execution, with a target of 95% or above.

Compensation

₹50,000 – ₹70,000 per month

Compensation is negotiable based on relevant experience, skills and suitability.
