Job Description

George Maijo Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented General Manager – Service to lead the overall service operations at our Kundannoor branch.

The candidate must have mandatory experience in the automobile industry, preferably with strong experience in automobile dealership service operations. The role involves managing service operations, leading teams, achieving business targets, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall operations and performance of the Service Department.
- Lead and mentor Service Managers, Service Advisors, Technicians, and workshop staff.
- Drive service revenue, profitability, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Monitor key service KPIs and take corrective actions to improve performance.
- Ensure timely vehicle delivery and maintain high service quality standards.
- Monitor workshop capacity, manpower utilization, and resource allocation.
- Handle major customer complaints and escalations.
- Drive customer retention, repeat service, and customer loyalty.
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly service performance reports.
- Coordinate with Sales, Body Shop, Parts, Accounts, and other departments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturer standards, and safety procedures.
- Monitor operational costs and improve overall workshop efficiency.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Train, guide, and motivate the service team.
- Maintain a safe,



clean, and professional workshop environment.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in the automobile industry is mandatory.
- Strong experience in automobile dealership/service operations is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a senior service management role will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automobile workshop and service operations.
- Proven ability to manage teams and achieve business targets.
- Positive understanding of service KPIs, revenue management, and customer retention.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Strong customer-handling and problem-solving abilities.
- Good analytical, reporting, and business management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and dealership management systems.
