Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed electronic schematics, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, interconnection diagrams, cable schedules, and system-level drawings.
- Prepare and modify electrical/electronic panel layouts, component layouts, terminal drawings, connector details, and assembly drawings.
- Convert engineering concepts, sketches, and design inputs into accurate 2D CAD drawings and technical documentation.
- Work closely with Electronics, Electrical, Hardware, PCB, Production, and Engineering teams to develop and update technical drawings.
- Update drawings based on ECNs/ECOs, design changes, component changes, wiring modifications, and engineering revisions.
- Maintain accurate documentation for electronic assemblies, control panels, wiring harnesses, connectors, cables, terminals, and related hardware.
- Ensure drawings follow applicable electrical/electronics drafting practices, symbols, standards, dimensions, tolerances, and documentation requirements.
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM), drawing revision records, part references, and engineering documentation where required.
- Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, connectivity, component identification, and manufacturability.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to resolve drawing-related technical issues.
- Maintain an organized database of electronics drawings, revisions, schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.

Required Technical Skills

- Solid understanding of electronic circuits, circuit symbols, electronic components, connectors, cables, wiring, and electrical/electronic schematics.
- Ability to understand and interpret circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, PCB-related drawings, and electronic system documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent CAD drafting software.
- Experience preparing electronic/electrical drawings and technical documentation.




- Good understanding of component identification, reference designators, wiring and connectivity, terminals, connectors, and cable routing.
- Knowledge of electronic assembly and manufacturing documentation will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with PCB design documentation, Gerber/PCB drawings, or ECAD tools is an added advantage.
- Good analytical, visualization, detailing, and technical documentation skills.

Qualification

- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- Candidates from Civil or Mechanical drafting backgrounds without hands-on Electronics/Electrical-Electronics drafting experience will not be considered.

Experience

05 years and above of relevant experience in Electronics / Electrical-Electronics drafting and technical documentation.

Candidates should have relevant experience in one or more of the following environments:

- Electronics manufacturing
- Electrical & electronic control systems
- Instrumentation
- Industrial electronics
- Electronic equipment / systems
- Control panels and electronic assemblies
- Wiring harnesses and cable assemblies
- PCB/electronic product development
- Aerospace / automotive electronics
- Telecom / communication equipment

Important – Domain Requirement

THIS IS AN ELECTRONICS-DOMAIN DRAUGHTSMAN POSITION.

Applicants must have professional experience in electronics/electrical-electronics drafting and documentation.

Civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, HVAC, or purely construction-related Draughtsmen are NOT suitable for this position.

Compensation

₹4,20,000 – ₹6,00,000 per year, depending on experience and technical expertise.
