To deliver engaging and effective Science - BIOLOGY instruction to high school students, fostering critical thinking, awareness, and an understanding of subject in alignment with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching and Learning

- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in Bio as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Use diverse teaching strategies to engage students and promote inquiry-based learning.
- Integrate real-life examples, projects, and activities to enhance conceptual understanding.

2. Curriculum Planning

- Prepare annual, monthly, and weekly lesson plans in line with the academic calendar.
- Develop teaching aids, worksheets, and assessments to support learning objectives.
- Align classroom instruction with curriculum guidelines (CBSE).

3. Student Assessment and Progress

- Design and conduct formative and summative assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare report cards.
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support when required.

4. Classroom Management





- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom workplace.
- Encourage respect, collaboration, and responsible behavior among students.

5. Co-curricular and School Activities

- Participate in school events, field trips, exhibitions, and assemblies.
- Support activities such as debates, quizzes, model UN, or heritage projects related to social sciences.

6. Parent and School Communication

- Participate in Parent–Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and provide updates on student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues, COD, and school leadership on academic planning and student development.

7. Professional Development

- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and professional learning initiatives.
- Stay updated with contemporary pedagogical practices and subject knowledge.
